CityMob was a group buying website based in Cape Town, South Africa.

The company was founded in 2011 by Claude Hanan, Luke Jedeikin, and Daniel Solomon. The website featured daily deals - typically discounts on meals, hospitality, events, and travel packages. A deal was unlocked to consumers once the tipping point (the minimum purchase threshold) was met.

The CityMob Facebook App was the first f-commerce app to launch in South Africa.

The app was a single page app built in a Facebook App Canvas, and allowed fans to browse and purchase daily deal coupons within the Facebook environment.

The second iteration of the website focused on flash sales - time-limited sales on designer products marketed to an exclusive members-only database.

The company offers a range of short courses built in collaboration with USB Executive Development, the private executive development company of Stellenbosch University (USB-ED).
